Serve in Care Ministry

Provide meals for people who are recovering from surgery, just had a baby, or have experienced a loss.

Pray after service, pray for weekly requests, pray over large events, pray for the church and staff.

Trained people to walk alongside a couple who is struggling in their marriage.

Confidential one-to-one Christian care to people of Oakwood Community Church and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. A caring Christian friend who listens, cares, prays, supports, and encourages.

One on one budget planning and execution. Female coach females and males coach males.
One hour per week consistently.

Visit those in hospitals and transitional care facilities.

Prepare and set up for funerals/memorials. Serve food at the funeral or memorial service.

Make cards and mail to people recovering from surgery, prayer requests, going through chemo, new baby, and loss of a loved one.

Visit attenders/members who are not physically able to attend church to be encouraged, prayed for or receive communion.
